Can I bring my laptop or tablet?

Accepted Answer

Your devices are welcome anytime we're open, except for weekend mornings. Between 8am and 2pm on weekends, we get really busy and allow devices to be used only at the bar.

On weekend evenings, many tables are designated for social use but some are available for you to use your device. Just keep an eye out for signs indicating that tables are reserved for non-device use. The Literary does its best to balance our collective craving for social interaction and your need to work- we appreciate your understanding!

Do you accept reservations?

Nope! We are a first-come-first-served kind of place so we're not able to accept reservations.

Question 3

Can you accommodate a group of 6+?

Accepted Answer

We have plenty of space, but we can't guarantee that seating for six all-together will be available when you want to stop by since we're a first-come, first-served spot. Depending on the day, we might be able to set aside a space for event;  email events@literarybookbar.com to see if we can make that happen for your group.

Do you have options for my dietary preferences & restrictions?

We have lots of vegan, gluten-free, and vegetarian options!
If you have an allergy of any kind, please tell your barista when you place your order.

Question 5

Do I need my ID to buy alcohol if I'm over 21?

Accepted Answer

Yup. We card hard, please bring your I.D. no matter how many years you've earned.

Question 6

Can I place a food/beverage order over the phone? Do you deliver?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We are happy to take your call-in pickup order Tuesday-Friday. With apologies, we are not able to accept phone orders on weekends.

We do not deliver.

Can I order a book online?
