events at lit

Thanks for your interest in holding your event at The Literary! We love hosting book signings, book launches, author events, community events, and more, and we're so glad you thought of us for yours.

We are a teeny, tiny team and we receive a ton of event requests; if we think your event is a fit for The Literary, a member of our team will reach out to you. If you have not heard from us within a month of your submission, then, unfortunately, we will not be able to host your event.

Please note that we're currently booking events at least 3 months in advance. If your event is a private party, we are able to book approximately 2-4 weeks in advance. At this time we are only able to consider private events for Mondays or Tuesdays.

Thanks again!

Thanks for submitting!

The Literary Consignment Form

The ability to host local authors and carry their books is a part of what makes The Literary so special. We strive to provide a space for as much local support as we can; however, we host a variety of other events outside author-centric ones that affect our scheduling capabilities.

If you are an author who would like The Literary to consider carrying your book(s), please submit a request. We carry self-published books through consignment only (see below). Approval from management is required to receive consignment and is approved based on the criteria outlined in the form below.

Even if your book is not self-published, please note that currently we are only able to carry books that are available to order through Ingram, Penguin Random House, or MacMillan; publications not available through any of these will require consignment.

Please do not send review copies to the store.
